We are currently offering two different types of profiles, Standard and B+W Plus.
The standard profiles are ideal for photographers and inkjet printers wanting to improve on the 'canned' profiles shipped with printers and those downloaded from paper suppliers.
The B+W Plus profiles offer excellent colour performance with the addition of extra colour patches which are neutral or near neutral. These extra patches tie down colour performance in these area's helping to provide faithful reproductions of mono or duo toned images.

Printers, Inks and Paper
Each printer / ink / paper combination defines the final colours achieved when making a print. It is therefore necessary to profile each combination. Now, most users will have a fixed combination of printer and inks only requiring separate profiles for different types of paper used.
Your Printer
The huge majority of printers ( Epson / Canon / HP ) are easy to profile provided your carefully follow the instructions provided. However some older printers particularly the EPSON 870/1270/80/90 can be difficult to profile due to the significant non-linearity of their performance. This doesn't mean they are faulty, they came out of the factory this way !! This non-linearity is compounded if you are using non-Epson ink and paper.
If you do wish to profile a 1270/80/90 Epson printer then please drop us an email at info@colourperfect.co.uk and explain your setup. We will ask you to print out some initial color ramps to help select the best paper settings. There may be a small additional charge (£5-00) for these printers.
